It's not uncommon at certain points throughout life to feel lost or lack direction for a period of time. It’s especially common in times following a significant change within one’s life. While going through a time like this, it can feel overwhelming – as if you’ll never find a way out – and is often very lonely.
This painting pictures a human alone and lost in an environment made up of these large natural forms that function as strange large plants within the picture. This environment continues on farther than the eye can see. With no clear right direction for this person to take, the best they can do is just commit to moving forward and hope it will eventually lead them to some place better.
